How to request deletion of your DuoLink account
We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request full deletion of your DuoLink account at any time, free of charge and without giving reasons. Here's how to do it and what happens to your information afterwards.
From inside the app (recommended — instant)
If you still have access to your account, this is the fastest way: 1. Open DuoLink (web or mobile app) and log in. 2. Go to Profile → Settings → Danger Zone. 3. Tap "Delete account" and confirm. Your profile disappears from searches, matching and public views within 60 seconds.
By email (if you lost access to your account)
If you lost access to the email you registered with, or can't log in for any reason, write to us and we'll do the deletion manually. We need the registration email or your DuoLink username to identify the correct account.

Deleted
- Your public profile (avatar, banner, bio, games, schedule)
- Your email, birth date, country and city
- Your linked accounts (Riot, Steam, Discord, Google, Twitch, Battle.net, Nintendo)
- Your swipes, likes and matchmaking preferences
- Your online presence and last seen timestamp
Retained anonymized
- Chat messages you sent (your name replaced by [deleted user] so other participants keep context)
- Historical matches (you appear as deleted profile to other participants)
- Moderation reports made against your account (for legal compliance and to protect other users)
Timing
• In-app deletion: immediate (under 60 seconds). • Email deletion: up to 7 business days after we receive your request. We reply with confirmation. • Backups: encrypted backups may contain data up to 30 days after deletion, then overwritten by automatic rotation. • You can sign up again with the same email if you change your mind — you create a new account, previous history is not recoverable.
